1. Enjoy the ride!!!

When in college, I had a night class. I was recovering from a really nasty bout of pneumonia that had seen my temperature go above 105, and my lungs hurt from scarring. They prescribed liquid codeine, and I had to take it before I went to class. I felt like I melted into the chair...

I can only wonder how a couple of glasses of wine would have augmented that.

You can stay buzzed on that stuff for a long time. I started around 14 and stayed wasted until 36 or so.

6. Heh...

I went to Ireland about 3 years ago. I over did it one night and paid for it in the morning. I found my way to the Chemist (huge headache) and asked for something for it. They advised advil or some such, but being one to try new things, I asked what else do you have, they said "Solpadeine" and I said OK. Was kind of like alka seltzer. After I took it, I read the ingredients, Codeine, and Caffeine. Worked! Damn, I miss that stuff. :)
