I need opinions -- is this just too horrible?
To juxtapose the words of Babs with the image of our fallen soldiers? It makes me feel terrible, but I did it -- still I think it is powerful. But is it too offensive?

You're exactly correct for connecting her words to responsibility. I'm responsible for my words, why should she not be responsible for hers?

Chilling, isn't it. Yes, it's too offensive................that she said it. Showing her words juxtaposed with reality is revealing the truth, and that, imho, is the highest calling any person could fulfill. Kudos to you!

as you can. To remind people about this particularly cruel and insensitive remark.

Great job with this image. Very powerful statement.

Barbara Bush needs to apologize for this remark immediately. On national television, where she made the remark in the first place. Sadly, we know how the Bush family feels about apologies, so I'm not holding my breath for hers.
