What's your Food Group/Type
Personally, I'm a meat food group/type person. Love it.

Secondly, and sometimes even more than meat, I like the vegetable group.

I'm not so big on the "breads and starches and pastas" group, nor on the "processed packaged preservative-laden junk food group" except sometimes I get in a major mood for Doritos.

last place is the fruit group. I'm just not into fruit. Sometimes I like a strawberry, or some grapes or raspberries, the occasional mango or kiwi. But that's about it. Though I do use a lot of limes and lemons in cooking and drinks (lemonade, lemons in water, gin and tonics, etc.).

2. I am also a meat food group person
I am not into the vegetable food group but the fruit food group is for me. I will take the chocolate food group over the bread/pasta one most of the time. I also consider sour cream to be its own separate food group.

Do you really make sushi? I cook a lot, but am too much of a wuss to try to make sushi myself. I LOVE sushi. But I'll have to go with you...beer is probably my favorite group.

9. Well... technically "sushi" translates as "vinegared rice"
So yes I do...It's vegetarian though, although I do eat the fish stuff at restaurants.

Mine is very light and filling. I put tempeh, tofu, pickles, wasabi, veggies, all kinds of stuff in there. Great for parties. Come some time. :-)

18. Forgive me, but I have a "Lord of the Flies" thing going on in my head.
I'd show up, be bound and gagged, and suddenly would be beaten with sticks while people are chanting "beat it beat it. hit it hard."

Poor me.

Actually, you can have the candy. I'm not a big fan of sweets. Complex carbs? You bet.

How the hell did you think of Hello Kitty toys? And, more importantly, how did you know I love them?

And...oh, "little" pencil and bouncy balls. I think I get it.

22. You two aren't threadjacking, are you?
because if you are, I have to call GOPisEvil and MATCOM, since all threadjacking must be done by them, or at least pre-approved with signed permission and you have to display such authorization in your office and on your sigline.

:spank:

29. I think he would tell you, though, if you ask
that Rabrrrrrr threads are NOT fodder for practice. You are to practice on lesser threads first before threadjacking in the realm of the sacred, which I'm sure you'll find, if you ask, is the category pretty much everyone puts the RabrrrrrrThreads(tm). :-)

17. Veggies, meat, fish, and nuts
There are so many veggies and so many different way to cook them and spice them up. I like meat, but rarely do I crave it so much- more for the protein. I used to hate fish, but now I love it (salmon, trout, and cod especially). And nuts- love nuts- macadamias, peanuts (technically a legume, but oh well), almonds, sunflower seeds, pecans, Brazil nuts. I'm nutty.

Used to be a sugar-fest carbie junky, but I can't do it now. It makes me nauseas to eat much of it. I'm much skinnier (definately not too skinny- about right- BMI is finally freakin' 24.9) and I don't get sick anymore (not more than a sniffle anyway).

20. OMG, I was afraid to mention nuts
Frickin' love 'em - pistachios are a total out of control neanderthal feedfest when I have them, I love cashews and peanuts and pecans almonds and filberts and macadamia nuts and peanuts... love those salted peanuts in the shells.

In the fall and winter, back when I lived in the midwest and could get 'em, or when I go home at Christmas time, I got/get POUNDS of the bulk nuts in their shells: filberts, almonds, walnuts, pecans. OMG!! I've actaully, a couple times (though that was ten years ago) gotten sick from eating those bulk in-their-shells nuts.

Whenever I fly, I take a bag of mixed nuts with me, unless I just take a giant bag of cashews. Though when I went to Japan, I took a couple pounds of pistachios with me, since it was a LONG flight.

Oh, God, I love nuts, and I'm so embarassed to say it, mostly because I know a lot of people are reading something sexual into the statement.

And in Japan I had fresh-roasted - so fresh-roasted, we had to wait until the roasting was finished - chestnuts. Very excellent when hot! though of the nuts, that's one of my least favorite.

What I totally loved was when I lived in Hawaii going to the Mauna Loa macadamia factory and getting hot macadamia nuts. They weren't necessarily fresh-roasted, they were just under a heat lamp, but holy hell ARE THEY GOOD.

25. I was afraid of that too
Dirty minded people! (The extent is my love for the other ones are my personal business.)

I'd have to say that nuts have replaced potato chips in my heart as the savory snack of choice. Couldn't live without them. Macadamias are so darned pricey though. I had roasted chestnuts once I think- yummy :P . Pistachios don't do it as much for me though. I don't know what it is about them.

26. Oops - forgot dairy totally - I REQUIRE a few pounds of cheese each week
and I love my cream sauces and cream soups.

Mostly, though, for dairy it comes in the form of COPIOUS amounts of cheese.

So, perhaps I'm actually MEAT then CHEESE then VEGGIES except sometimes it's VEGGIES then CHEESE then MEAT.
