In the immortal words of VelmaD- I'm NORMAL!!!!

Velma and I have often talked about our mutual quest for slenderness (well, normalness because I'd like to retain my curves too) and a couple months back I remember when she hit that under 25 BMI, she posted an "I'm normal" thread. Now I know that the BMI not the end all and be all of measurement for all people and all situtations, but it's not about them, it's about me, for which it gives a decent indicator.

Well, today, after months of these 4 pounds away being stuck, I can finally do the same - 24.8 baby! I'd still like a little 10 pound margin of error, but for the first time since I was 18 freakin' years old (that was 14 years ago), I'm officially back in the normal realm. Praise be!!!!

Don't get me started on BMI, though. ;-)

But not being overly blessed with those testosterone (and otherwise) induced big, burly manly muscles, that plays less into it for me.

I have the same problem. Even when I'm humble people accuse me of bragging. I can't help that I am so wonderful and such. ;-)

I had been overweight since my childhood. I got on the scale one morning and noticed that I was 30 lbs lighter than I had been the last time I weighed. Now I have a BMI of 22. It is such a lovely feeling. Congratulations SarahBelle.
