Never tried that. Ya gotta have beans and cole slaw as side orders, but I've never heard of putting the slaw ON the sandwich.

they also seemed to be very found of only using the cheapest crappiest bun you can find. I get weird looks when I ask to have mine on a Kaiser roll but then I always get weird looks.

31. BBQ is great either way--sometimes I feel like coleslaw,
sometimes I don't, but the key to good BBQ is the sauce. I like Carolina mustard sauce best.

4. Sometimes
Much more with Beef than Pork though. Pastrami sandwiches with cole slaw are also popular, and pastrami is smoked corned beef. I'm a Marylander, kinda southern, but not really....

8. Oh yeah!
When I used to be able to eat BBQ, I always put slaw on it. Nothing like it, especially if the slaw is reallllly good.

Got introduced to it in Millington, TN. I used to get a tub of BBQ pork, some freshly baked buns and an large order of KFC slaw...talk about heaven. :) :)

And that is about it.

I am from GA we eat BBQ sandwiches with a side of cole slaw and Brunswich stew oh yeah and you have to drink it with sweet iced tea or coke from a bottle.

Those are the rules.

My God, you live in Woodbridge?

About two years ago were you on the Woodbridge end of the Prince William Parkway right before I95 and honked at my Bush Cheated Bumpersticker?

I was wondering. I'm moving back to Woodbridge later in the month. I live in Arlington now but it's to pricey to buy here.

Hubby and I were living in Pennsylvania. If I DO see your bumper sticker, though, I'll honk!

I was born in Arlington, and there's no way I could live there now. Way too expensive. When we were moving back home from PA, we were looking for a townhouse in Arlington. Forget it; the only properties in our price range were condos. Unbelievable! :(

Let me be the first to welcome you back to PW County. You'll like it here!

There's a place there called Primanti Brothers, which puts cole slaw & fresh cut fries on all their sandwiches. Primanti's is one of the things I miss most about my hometown.

By the way, the slaw has a vinegary dressing, it's not the creamy type.

You have made me hungry and I have an hour to go before I get off work. Don't like coleslaw on my BBQ, but that is because I don't eat sanwiches, I like my brisquet sliced and no sauce on it, just on the side. You better have a good rub for the meat or I won't come back to your establishment. And the other thing I am a sucker for is RIBS, I can eat my weight in RIBS.
