Poll question: Martin or Lewis?
So who is your favorite? When Dean and Jerry split up everyone expected Jerry would be fine and Dean would fade. At first, that was the case with Dean doing a lousy movie titled, "Ten Thousand Bedrooms" and Jerry scoring a hit with "The Delicate Delinquent" and even a hit record with "Rock a bye Baby with a Dixie Melody" then Dino fell in with the rat pack and turned his career around--and they both succeeded.

Lewis continued to be a top ten box office star for another decade and became writer and director of many of his own films.

Martin parlayed his drunky image into a goldmine in films with and without the Rat pack and on his own successful television series.

Which member of this famous comedy team are you partial to?

2. Even when I was a young boy I could'nt.......
...stand Jerry Lewis. His brand of slapstick just strikes me as silly and ridiculous. He beats people over the head with that crap...

3. Ditto
Martin always seemed too slimy and sleazy to me too; but at least he could sing.

5. I respected Dean Martin as a singer.
Once you got past the "Rat Pack" and "Goldiggers" stuff, Dean Martin was a pretty decent singer.
