at a rate of once per 17 hours. And its axis of rotation is 97.86 degrees from the ecliptic!

15. I don't. Interesting reading here.
For Your Consideration...
One of the most unusual aspects of Uranus is its axial tilt. Uranus has a tilt of 97.86°. In comparison, Earth has a tilt of 23.45°. This means that Uranus rotates literally on its side. This has a very interesting effect on its seasons. While Uranus rotates in a bit over 17 hours, during part of the year its north pole points nearly directly at the Sun. The northern hemisphere, at this point, is entirely in sunlight (what weak sunlight there is 14 astronomical units away from our parent star) while if you lived on Uranus's southern hemisphere you wouldn't see the Sun rise at all. Twenty years later, a quarter of the Uranian year, while rotating on its side, all of Uranus would see the Sun. Twenty years later, as Uranus reached the opposite side of its orbit from where we started, only the southern hemisphere would see the Sun. Uranus's seasons, were it near enough to the Sun to actually get a reasonable amount of heat, would be extreme.

How did Uranus get like this, rotating on its side as it does? Astronomers currently feel that that early in the planet's formation it was hit by another large planetoid and its axis was knocked on its side.
