Who knew that PBS could be so... EDGY?

Anyone here see the series? It was really enlightening; particularly how willing everyone was to fall into their assigned roles. The family which "owned" the Manor House morphed into these ugly, snobbish aristocrats practically overnight.

Without any 21st Century points of reference towards modern social norms to regulate their behavior, the family treated the "servants" like, well, SERVANTS.

Fascinating stuff.

I protest one of the last questions though. The one about my son marrying the lap dancer. The choices are "gaining a daughter" or "losing a son". I chose "losing a son" BUT the intent of the question isn't about the girl, it's about the separation from your child. The wife-to-be could be anybody, from debutante to lap dances and I'd feel the same way.
