So I go away for a day and y'all are at each other's throats? Haysus Crisco, I thought I'd entered the GD forum again at first. What the hell happened in here? I mean, I'm living the sexual life of an ascetic (albeit highly aesthetic) lesbian hermit right now and even I can recognize that for some of you a first-class rogering wouldn't go amiss.

What's got so many of you uptight? It can't just be something as inconsequential as....well, here it's possible that I could be providing an opening to drag this crap out, and that's the last thing that we need. So please, please just be good to each other. I mean, we'll always disagree - and even those of us who've proven simpatico in many ways are destined to disagree on some issues - but this out-and-out nastiness of the last 24 hours or so is just plain ugly. It's also highly unnecessary. I don't know about you, but for a lot of people unkind or hateful words, once unleashed, don't exactly fade that quickly.

And I'm going to be pretty scarce around here this week, so just bear in mind that you won't have my serene and calming moderating influence around to help you through. :-)

I did not buy it because of my Dumbness, but for the photos. You will love it. And yes I have been even more of a crank than usual. I am ready to punch out supporters of.....well if I name names I am not following the rules I learned from taking the Forrest Gump Charm School Correspondence course.

And too wonderfully honest for your bold statement that you peruse that excellent work for its photos rather than its text. Bravo, sister! Yes, please, after you....woo-hoooo!

I remember her now - I saw Sirens in a hotel room on the other side of the world, a lonely Forrest stranded in a strange place in an even stranger country, and....oh, yes, I remember her. And Elle MacPherson.

Dudes, check out Sirens. It's got great actors in it, too, and is very deep and meaningful - I think - but it can be equally enjoyed by the carnally-challenged shallow and jetlagged. A film for every taste, you might say. I give it a solid thumbs-up. Okay, so that wasn't my thumb.....



Here I go to see who I'm resenting....
