Guilty Pleasures????
OK, I'll admit it.

I like to watch "DeGrassi" on The N. Dammit, it's a good show!

Anybody else like it?? And what is YOUR guilty pleasure???

1. Every once in awhile
I like to catch some women's college gymnastics on ESPN2, and my interest has precious little to do with athletic competition.

That's got to be a guilty pleasure, right? I normally DESPISE ESPN in all its guises.

2. Girls Behaving Badly on Oxygen
That's the show "Girls Behaving Badly" on the Oxygen Network I'm talkin' 'bout. (Does is seem stilted to use the vernacular yet still insert apostrophes in the correct places.)
It's not even one of the better "gotcha" shows but I am inexorably drawn to it.

4. Yikes!
I just admitted one of mine on the favorite authors thread. I like to read those cheesy true crime books. Like the ones by Ann Rule about real cases/real homicides. I usually take one or two on vacation with me. And I have a graduate degree in English literature. Don't tell!

6. TV in general
I like television. I love bad television. If anyone is ever curious what's happening on shows such as Paradise Hotel, Road Rules, or Big Brother, let me know. It's a real shame.

8. Another Degrassi fan!!!
:hi:

I went through a real obsessive period with the "N" watching not only Degrassi but that British boarding school soap "24-7" religiously. And I'm 33 years old. GUILTY AS CHARGED!

I only allow myself to do it if I'm feeling really down. If I did it all the time I'd put on a lot of weight.

19. Technically, yes
They call it "DeGrassi - The Next Generation" now, but it's the same show. New kids.

24. I used to LOVE the original DeGrassi...
I'm around the same age as the original Degrassi Jr. High cast, and I was absolutely dumbfounded when the new cast came around -- and one of the primaries is Spike's daughter, Emma! At first, I thought they did the accelerated-age thing, but, no...she'd be an early teen now.

25. Flirting with Lady Freedom.
That's one of them. Being a huge DeGrassi Jr. High fan is less likely to get me in trouble, though. I remember when it first came on TV, I thought I was the only one who watched this great Canadian series. How was I supposed to know it would become a phenomenon?

Anybody remember the "Zit Remedy"?
