Nebraska county official sues over $4.80 lunch bill
WAHOO, Neb. (AP) — Refusal by the Saunders County Board to pony up $4.80 for a local official's lunch could end up costing the county a lot more.

County Register of Deeds Don Clark has filed a lawsuit seeking reimbursement for the cost of a sandwich and soft drink, as well as his attorney's fees.

The purchase dates back to October, when Clark attended the Nebraska Association of County Officials Convention in Lincoln.

Since lunch was not provided, Clark bought a sandwich and drink from an area restaurant.
