good ideas or not?

I have a crush on a store clerk. my friends have said to do these things:

1 - pay with a credit card and write your number at the bottom of the receipt. probably not too bad since i've seen her around town, at parties and she has recognized me.
2 - put a condom in my wallet between two dollar bills, then when i pay take those two out. it'll send a message. i'm leaning toward bad on this one :)

1. Tell her you think she's cute/witty/pleasant/anionic/whatever, and ask

her if she wants to go for some coffee/tea/milkshakes/whatever it is you damn kids and your music are into nowadays. :-)

Don't be so subtle, and don't wait for her to make the move (both your ideas are passive).

Just blipping ask her.

have a hard time not laughing in his face. I would later tell my friends and we would all have a good laugh at him.

If he asked me out, then or later, I would laugh right in his face.

When you've done this on about four or five occasions, follow the advice of the other posters on the thread.

I'm the shyest human being on the earth and yet when I was in this situation, I managed to get a major romance going, eventually, without flashing any condoms or slipping my phone number to her. Of course she cut my heart out for me later, but you don't have to follow in my footsteps for this part.

Note: Ask for her phone number; don't try to slip her yours.
