damn you 'murkans!

why do you have to take global sports, reinvent them into bizarre shows, and not change the name??!
the other day i was looking for images of football, and all i got were images of american style football!
today i was looking for hockey images, and i got images of american ice hockey!
look, you play the game as you want it, but in deference to the tastes of the rest of the world (including one sorry-ass image hunter), change the NAME!
hey that makes me wonder, if you were asked to give alternative names to american football and ice hockey, what would they be??
