Question about what to do with old outdated softtware
Edited on Fri May-14-04 04:35 PM by drumwolf
While cleaning out my room today, I found some old store-bought Quicken TurboTax software packages (CD-R installations, et al) from 2000 and 2001. I want to get rid of them, but I would prefer not to throw them in the trash if there's another option (you know, adding more waste to landfills, helping the environment, yadda yadda yadda).

So my question is, is there ANY alternative to just taking it out with the garbage? As in, finding any use for it, or at the very least recycling it?

Here's what I have, if this means anything:

(1) 2001 Federal Return for Home and Business
(2) 2000 State Return for California
(3) 2000 Federal Return Deluxe

Thanks.
