2. That is kind of crazy that you ask. At this very moment my boys
are watching a DVD with Vai, Satch and Malmstead (Sweedish? Haven't heard of him before.)

They also have Steve Vai: Live at the Astoria London. That DVD is impressive beyond belief. The bass player Billy Sheehan plays bass like I have never seen before. Virgil Donati plays the drums and that guy is crazy with his sticks.

3. Jeff Beck has been the best for decades.

The Jeff Beck Group-"Rough and Ready" is my favorite album of all time. This is prior to the jazzy Jeff of latter days.

4. The orange album is my favorite.
I listened to it again recently (I've had it since the Seventies). My god, I had forgotten what an amazing talent he is. Put's everybody, then and now, to shame. And what an great singer Bob Tench was/is(?). Liked him a hundred times better than Rod Stewart.

I wish I liked Jeffy's newer stuff better. But he's still the best rock guitar player out there. This from a guy who actually likes Yngwie.

6. These guys aren't in the same galaxy as Mr. Beck.
Please check out the album Truth if you have any questions.

7. Beck
He's no Nigel Tufnel, of course; no matter how much he tries to look like him.

13. I'd prefer Beck, even if you were talkin' 'bout Beck Hansen.
Flashy guitar players who are all technique do nothing for me.

It's kinda like watching a Hollywood FX movie. I just don't get it.

The best current guitar player is Jonny Greenwood, in my opinion. Graham Coxon is not too shabby either.
