Eurotrash Fans: Tiscali screens Eurovision online
Fans of the Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place on Saturday in Istanbul, can watch the event live on the internet.

Twenty-four countries are set to take part in the 49th Eurovision, including the UK's James Fox who will perform Hold On To Our Love.

But if the cynicism of TV presenter Terry Wogan is too much for die-hard Eurovision fans, you can also tune into the Tiscali website which, like BBC 1, will screen the proceedings live and free.

Following an agreement with the European Broadcasting Union, Tiscali will transmit a webcast of both the two-hour semi-final and three-hour final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, live from Istanbul on 12 May and 15 at 8pm.

Well, will you watch the probably worst and yet most intersting "music" event this year?

4. You are "traditionkeepers" in Germany
It seems Eurovision is fallen in the trash here.

5. it is trash
It is just that nobody noticed here.

It was promoted by a very popular stand-up comedian a few years ago, making it a cult.
I will be most happy tomorrow to be able to watch pop-free news again tomorrow.

I just might escapce to France next year ;-).

2. Terry Wogan is terrific!
His comments are much entertaining than the songs. I feel obliged to watch Eurovision this year, since it's in Istanbul and all; but the songs are all a joke..
