When you were a kid did you ever eat something poisonous?
Once I ate an entire jar of flintstones' vitamins, while not poisonous my parents almost called the doc to have my stomach pumped.

My brother ate a mushroom he found in the yard, and they got some liquid to get him to vomit it back up...

1. Yes. Tomatoes.
Also broccoli, brussel sprouts....My parents made me. I've been told I can't sue them for it though. Darn the luck. :)

2. Does Koogle "peanut butter" count?

Koogle was marketed as chocolate-, vanilla-, and strawberry-flavored peanut butter, but really was little more than Crisco with food coloring. :puke:

4. eat, no. drink, yes.
I drank some turpentine when I was two. Must have been deliciously piney or something. I don't remember drinking the stuff but I have vague recollections that getting my stomach pumped was a horrible experience, and I remember having a lingering fear of hospitals for a couple years after that...

My mom, and RN, just made me drink lots and lots of milk to neutralize it. I don't think I ate that much though.

9. Bug poison...
My friend and I, at the age of four, decided to make a hat out of some upholstery material we found. We got into the utility room and thought we found glue. We smeared it all over the upholstery fabric and then put our hands in our mouths. We were treated with a house call from the doctor who had us drink salt water! Oh boy was that fun and memorable. I doubt that we got enough of the poison to do much harm, but there was certainly a lesson to be learned.

House calls? doctors? yes, it was many years ago.

11. Crawled under the bed at my grandma's and chewed on a potato
that had been baited with rat poison (1954). Had my stomach pumped and my mom was so upset she quit her job to care for me full time..

17. Drank some bleach...

My mother used to pour out the syrup from cans of pears and let me drink it when I was a kid. Sounds gross now, I know, but hey.. I was a kid.

Well, one time she was in the kitchen and set aside a bowl with some stuff in it that I just assumed was pear syrup and drank a big mouthful. It was bleach. :(

The doctor told her to have me drink lots of milk and NOT induce vomiting because it would be worse coming back up.

I seemed to have survived. :)
