I just donated to DU!!!!!!

...and eventhough it wasn't a lot (since I owe a small fortune in taxes - thank you Mr. Bush for that GREAT tax cut)I couldn't NOT donate a little something. I totally understand that there are people among us who can't - but for those who can - it will make ya feel like you're doin' a little something. DU has been instrumental in helping me keep my sanity during what I consider to be the worse 3 1/2 years of my life (politically speaking). It's wonderful to be validated. For example, I was out of the computer loop for a few days due to a temporary relocation. I heard the INHOFOE comments during the hearings last week and was so UPSET I had to take TWO of my anti-anxiety meds!!! Sure enough, there on the front page of DU this weekend, is an article about that situation. DU makes me feel not so alone politically. I have a nice network of friends but very few of them are as effected by what's going on in the world as I. That's when I can turn to DU and engage with like minded folks. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR MAKING ME REALIZE THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS LIKE I'M IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE! :-)

Before I found DU I thought I was losing my mind. Thanks for keeping our special place alive.
