End time is nigh Local Safeway playing Judas Priest

So I pop in to my local Safeway yesterday and playing over the PA
at considerable Volume is Judas Priest "You've Got Another Thing Coming"

My first thought was WTF & then this would make a great Theme song for the Democratic convention. Directed to the Rethugs. :)

1. How come you get Judas Priest and we get Ethel Merman?
I went shopping this morning (along with every person in town over the age of 85) and got to listen to Ethel Merman and Tommy Dorsey tunes. I have to find a grocery store with a younger age demographic.
The sad thing is.....I'm only 45 and I knew all the words to the songs! I really have to get a life...............

2. It's funny -- every time we go to Kroger
We hear Steely Dan. Back before Drug Emporium pulled out of my area, it was not only Steely Dan, but specifically the song 'Dr. Wu.' I used to make Mr. Nownow come in Drug Emporium with me every time I went, just to prove to him I wasn't a nutcase -- he heard it, too. Well, okay -- I probably am a nutcase, but they really were playing 'Dr. Wu' just about every time I went into Drug Emporium.

4. Well normally we get Muzak

but yesterday it was

Priest followed by some Stevie Ray Vaughn
then some Deep Purple. I said to the Cashier to tell the manager
that I spend more when I shop to Rock. :)
