But what about back hair?
How do you get rid of that?

Okay, I know it's a taboo subject, but it's a fact of life for many men. How do you DIY your own back hair?

1. I don't, it's a sign of a high testosterone level
and that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

17. I don't mind back hair on guys
Heck if it's there, it's there for a reason :-)

Though I understand why some men would like to wax it, just as many women choose to shave their legs!

8. Yup. High testosterone causes hair to stop growing on top, out in back...
Rather annoying, that... I'd rather have mine on top.

Now if I had my goulies chopped off, neither of these would be a problem. And unlike bacteria, I don't breed, so maybeeeee...

14. Well, that's an interesting solution to the problem.
Still, I think I'll pass. I don't breed either - at the moment - but I really, really, REALLY hope to again someday real soon. I think I'll refrain from choppin' bits off ... for the time being.

20. You mean, if I get fixed I'll get my hair back?
Why didn't somebody tell me this sooner!

I am unfortunately hirsuste everywhere except the top of my head, and my upper arms (for some strange reason).

I even have nice hairy feet on top, like a hobbit.

21. Actually,
it's dihydroxytestosterone, not testosterone. So this balding is actually a measure of the level of enzyme you have in your body that converts testosterone to the DHT...not the testosterone levels itself.

9. Your's is not to reason why.
Your's is just to research the problem, and if you find no solution, to then invent one and become a millionaire. I'm trying to do you a BIG favor here. I want to make you rich, already.

10. Perhaps if the back-hair folicles could be removed and stored for plugs...
Edited on Sun May-16-04 08:06 PM by JVS
that would be needed later.

18. Okay, one last appeal.
You do realize that while whether or no we have back hair is a roll of the dice, the removal of it is what separates us from the anim...freepers.

22. I've been shaving my torso for years
I'm 40 with a full head of extremely thick hair, people in my family die at 95 with all their hair. In my late 20s I started getting hair on chest and most of back; I've been shaving the entire torso for years, ever since I lived in Florida. It is great, it really lowers my body temperature and looks much better. It is the safest method -- I do it in the shower. I will likely get the laser hair removal someday. The only problem with shaving is that you have to do it every couple days.

Not that anyone asked, but I also shave 'down there' -- I guess you could say I 'trim' it extremely low. It itches at first but also feels great.
