The Soprano's were brilliant tonight

Tony's dreams are the best.... and the Lionel Ritchie touch was awesome...

But could someone please explain what Christopher told Tony??-- the other Tony killed WHO??--which caused WHAT problem?? Neither I nor my husband could figure it out.

He rattled it out so fast and I can never keep the names straight, anyway! Not sure who Phil is.

Just before dawn Tony gets a visitor. It's Christopher, who quickly gets down to business. "I'm sorry to get you up," he says, "but I knew you'd want to know right away." Tony B. shot both of the Leotardo brothers, killing Billy and sending Phil to the hospital. While Tony processes this information, Christopher can't resist stating the obvious. "I guess TB's fucked, poor guy." Tony quickly corrects him. "Poor guy?" he says angrily, "We're all fucked."

I've had dreams like that, where all the texts of your life are combined. It happens sometimes when you are alone, as Tony was in the hotel. His life is coming apart. The last episode ended when he couldn't accept his sister's hapiness, and that is the basic theme here.

What I love about the show is that there are no wholly good characters like in so many contemporary shows -- all of the characters have evils components, flaws, etc. That reminds me of the 70s cinema (Five Easy Pieces, Taxi Driver) when we had complex and difficult leading actors who weren't nice guys but who were fascinating. Nowadays they have to sugarcoat everything with characters who have a heart of gold.

I love this show!

It went on wayyy to long and the episode sucked since it started.

Twice in the last few episodes they've teased you with hot asian chicks and then you never end up seeing anything. I know the show is about way more than skin but that's just one good part of it.

it's a fabulous set up for the last two episodes.

Very creative. I'm sure the cast had a lot of fun with it.
