Not the other way around. And Pedro put him down to the ground without injuring or hitting him. Pedro could have punched his teeth out instead, the way Zimmer was running head first at him.

By the way, what were the odds that the diehard Red Sox fan would end up losing 4-3 -- the same way the Sox lost in the '46, '75 and '86 World Series, as well as the 2003 ALCS -- then be credited for dominating the game all season and outwitting everybody, even though he fell just short in the end? This has all the makings of Dan Shaughnessy's next depressing book.
