I don't mind lukewarm...especially bitter beers, but I can't drink it room temp. Yuck.

8. Actually, it has to be well below 32 degrees,
since the ethanol and other additives will depress the freezing point of beer. It will depend from beer to beer, however.

13. 50-60. Cellar temperature.
Eveything is best drunk at the temperature at which it was intended to be drunk. Stout is a cellar-temperature beer.

I, on the other hand, am intended to be drunk at approximately 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

*checking thermostat*

Huzzah! I shall now go get drunk!

Dug glass and gravel from a wounded knee.

Yet it'll do on such a night
As this -- desperate yearning
For drunkenness, lift your wing
And carry me 'neath! I yearn
For Truth, but I will never learn.
Truth is a lie, my friend --
Life is bullshit, start to end.

That Lynchburg makes anything but "Tennessee whiskey?"
Bourbon comes not from the folk at Jack Daniels,
But from the old pot-stills in the Kentucky hills.
And think not of turning this thread to your flirtation.
I'm most concerned with my own masturbation.

But faced with the choice of a tug or sip
You'll keep the bourbon in your grip

I sip and I lick and I lap and I sup,
When I am in the midst of an imaginary fuck.

While ecstasy brings a whole other lever of mirth.
Do not resign yourself to worldly things:
It is the eternal that makes the body sing.

50. Cold, and fizzy
I know that's not traditional, but I first discovered guinness when it was bottled for US consumption, and it was carbonated about as much as domestic beers. I developed a taste for it that way. I still like it fizzy-it's got a nice bite that way. And when it's like that, it's even better cold.
