Has a presidential candidate ever received 100% of the electoral vote?
If not, what are the most lopsided wins for presidential elections?

4. I think this is your top 5:
Reagan received 525 votes. Franklin Roosevelt in 1936 received 523. Richard Nixon in 1972 received 520. Dwight D. Eisenhower received 457 in 1956. And Lyndon Johnson received 486 in 1964.

9. Okay... thanks!
So pretty much the top three (for EV) were:

Reagan in 1984 (?)
Roosevelt in 1936
Nixon in 1972

Now does anyone know the biggest sweeps of the popular votes - say from the year 1900 and later?

14. WASHINGTON
Unanimously in 1789.

When Monroe ran unopposed in 1820, one of the electors purposely voted for John Quincy Adams so that Washington would remain the only unanimous victor of the EC.
