2012 Olympic City Finalists announced. NYC on the list

Other finalists include London, Madrid, Moscow, and Paris. Paris was mentioned as the front-runner.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I am sort of hoping Paris wins it, for the sole reason of shoving it directly up the Republicans' asses for harassing them pre-war despite the fact that they were right all along. In fact, I'm betting that is what makes them the front runner to begin with...

America always hosts an olympic event every couple of years. And with the new Jets stadium being built we should have the facilities to accomodate the Olympics.

I just hope it doesn't happen. Traffic is bad enough as it is around here.
