Has anyone ever tried to go off Zoloft?

I've been weaning myself off very slowly over several weeks. Today I'm just a sobbing, slobbering idiot. My next-door neighbors, who are almost like parents to us, are moving back to Florida tomorrow. I'm not able to find a summer job to save my life. I hate the state of the world these days. There's just not much to be happy about. I think I know now that I will have to be on Zoloft the rest of my life.

I tried taking it for panic attacks. I did not have panic attacks during those two weeks but felt a constant high level of anxiety all the time while taking it.
I have heard that some people who have taken SSRIs for a long time have bad withdrawal effects. Regardless since you are having a stressful, maybe now isn't the best time to go off of them.

You Ever Smoke Weed? I'm Not Trying To Be A Dick Or Rude But Serious. When I Quit Smoking And Drinking (I Know Booze/Nicotine Aren't Zoloft) It Worked Wonders. Not That I Would Condone Illegal Activity! :)
