Another Bush is Toast thread

My husband was in town today, looking for work (requirement of unemployment, which he hasn't gotten yet, but that's another story). In the auto parts store, he saw a fellow he used to work with about 5 years ago. The fellow said, "You know, I'm a lifelong Republican, but I don't usually vote. Didn't vote in 2000. But I'm voting this year. That SOB has ruined the country, and I'm voting Democrat!"

This was voluntarily offered. The same thing has happened to me. And this is northwest Arkanses, Republican central. Bush is toast.

1. what I notice.. is that people aren't afraid to say so anymore

that alone is a good sign the tide is or has turned.

Can you imagine some of these people even vocalizing that even 3 months ago? It's ok now to bash the bastard just as it should be. People seem to be waking up.

Reminds the folks nicely that if even if they won't switch parties permanently, that it would be nice to have a diverse mix in our three branches of government.
