Should I stay or should I go
Edited on Wed May-19-04 08:50 AM by meegbear
I am going to a conference in San Francisco for my company from Monday June 28 to Friday July 2. My company said that if I pay for my hotel after the 2nd, I can stay there for the holiday and they will pay for the flight (it's the same price each day). Due to money issues, I opted out and am scheduled to return on the 2nd.

Now I'm having second thoughts. I am going to Montreal at the end of July for a couple days (gay pride). That trip is paid and I have money for it. I've never spent time in SF and a single GWM there during the 4ht of July, I'm sure could have a good time. But I am financially strapped. Should I bite the bullet and stay - pay the extra bucks to change my flight and hotel for a couple days and spending money, or just see what I can see and go from there. I want to stay, but the bills keep coming in.

Please advise.

2. Do it... what are you, crazy?
My partner and I had the same opportunity. I had a business trip to SF in March, and she travels all the time and can fly wherever she wants on the weekends, so we met up and stayed the weekend there. It was my first trip to SF and I am so happy that I made sure to do something more than just business there.

GO.

8. Thanks ...
I PM'd an SF DU'er and he gave me some places to stay. But I'm open to all options.

And NOT see Haight / Ashbury or Berkley would bother me.

4. If you have never been there
you should stay. It is such a wonderful, fun place to be. So much to do and see and such a lovely place to just hang out. Stay if you can.
