Check out some of the most important things in my life...

Star is missing because she is still hiding from Bailey.

And, of course, Paul isn't in the pictures either (but only because he's at work...)

3. Yup.
When we got Cat we were told that it was a 'she'. Then we took her to the vet for some routine work and he called and asked if we wanted him neutered. I said, "Don't you mean spayed?" and he said, "No, your cat is a boy." Well, he was neutered. Then he developed an infection and had to undergo surgery to do some nip and tuck and, in essence, became a girl anyway.

So we went with a gender neutral name.

4. What else would you call something that doesn't come when you call it?
Old joke.

Actually, my cat comes when I whistle.

Also, I wanted to call our new dog Dammit.

Come here, Dammit!

Quit barking, Dammit!

Dammit, get off the couch!

Seems to work for me.

5. You mock, and you scoff
You mockingly scoff, but my father actually named a pair of dachshunds Dammit and Aw Shit.

I was about five or six. I was only allowed to call them Dangit and Aw.

6. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Thanks for that.

My uncle used to have a dog he called "Shitter". I was allowed to call it "Shooter" but that was it.

7. My cat only comes when I use the electric can opener...
and then I have to give him tunafish or a treat, so that I don't wear out my only recourse when I want him to come.

9. If Bailey ever wears out his/her welcome
at your place, send him/her my way! :D

I :loveya: beagles. And beagle mixes. And mixed beagles. And 'everything' bagels, but that's a different story...;)

10. Bailey is a he...
And a crying one at that.

He's got separation anxiety in a big way. I can understand it, though. He was given up at a very young age and I don't think he really had a chance to bond with his mother or siblings. When Misty is laying down he wants to lay right next to her.

If Paul or I are sitting on the couch he curls up next to us. If we move over a bit he opens his eyes to see where we are and slides over until he's next to us again.
