1. my old A/C was leaking freon

and they couldn't just gas it up like they used to in the old days because of the clean air act and CFC gases.

I had to buy a new one cause they couldn't plug the leak.

Completely, utterly dead, and not worth fixing.
May is WI is probably the best time for it to go (not that there's ever a good time for a $3,000 replacement bill).

I hope it's not too hot where you are.
