1. It's still on the air????
I watched the show twice and refuse to watch it again.

Scott Bikula(sp?) couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.

I wouldn't make his character a floor sweeper, nevermind captain.

11. I'll take another look
but I caught 30 seconds of an episode last week (didn't know what I was watching) and he was still wooden-faced confronted with a disaster. Even Kate Muldoon would raise an eyebrow once in awhile.

10. Enterprise has problems,
but Scott Bakula's acting ain't among them problems.

Ever see "Quantum Leap?" Ever see "American Beauty?"

Enterprise was rushed onto the air, and the characters may not be as well fleshed-out as we would like, and the writing may not be as good as we would like, but Bakula is just as good as any actor on the air today. Look at what he does with what they give him.

Please don't confuse the actor with the role.

12. I hated Quantum Leap
same problem.

He surprised me in American Beauty - I actually like the movie.

15. If you hated Quantum Leap,
then you will never like Bakula, no matter what he does.

I loved that show, and the final episode had me bawling like a baby. When I see it reruns, I still cry, and I'm not a man given to crying easily. He was awesome, all sci-fi bullshit aside.

5. Great news.
I like that slot better too. although I usually catch the Saturday replay.

Enterprise is great but some of my old trekkie friends just can't accept a world before the Prime Directive. It is a major difference that affects all aspects of the show and will lead into the eventual development of the PD in the future.

I also think the long serial plotline this year has been a good change. Not sure about the Xindi that are actually 4 races not one.

8. I think this show is the reason they
made the Prime Directive. Though my wife and I have agreed this story line they are following has been a little long for a Star Trek show. We think the writers started and got stuck and do not know where to go with it.

16. Ah yes the timeslot of death.
Friday at 9pm is the worst timeslot in all of television and once again has been reserved for science fiction. The assumption by the network morons is that sci-fi geeks have nothing better to do on a friday night. Thankfully TiVo will allow me to still see the show. I find this incredibly insulting as both a sci-fi fan and someone who occasionally likes to go out on friday nights.

18. Already got the gleeful email from my husband
And it's been moved to Fridays at 9, which is good for me (he's usually down in his ManCave alphabetizing his CD collection).

19. I saw last night's episode, good riddance.
It's got loads of pedestrian dialogue and the characters are utterly lifeless. Complete cardboard. How can people watch this mindless drivel? It's like watching two people play checkers when you already know what moves they're going to make?!

I hated the pre-season-3 character development of the main characters. Berman's done a real doozy, that's for sure.

And the opening and closing credits? :puke: Unimaginative 80s glam (hair)-rock guitar rubbish. :puke:

Berman whined and complained in 1995 to axe a potential Sulu-based Trek series, saying how the show would trash TNG et al continuity. Well, when DS9 and Voyager and the TNG movies didn't spit on continuity, here comes Enterprise making a mockery of it all. Especially with the Borg. x(

Enterprise being a continual bomb, Nemesis being a total waste, and Paramount still wants Berman (yet alone Trek in general) around?!
