Apparently WinMX's search feature hasn't been working for over a week. Screw that, I don't know whether to go with BitTorrent, Gnutella, Morpheus, etc... What's your opinion on it???

It (BT) is pretty common to (legally) download files (game demos, experimental programs) from providers without enough finances.
It saves a lot of server resources and has a much better download performance than any option other than direct download .
However it tends to use up your whole bandwith(unless you use a modified client). Not to mention it takes a lot of CPU power and memory.

You need a link to download anything with BT, unlike most other P2P programs.

3. I'm very happy with
Shareaza and BearShare, they each use multiple networks. Pre launch virus scanning is a must however.

7. That's strange
I don't have any problems searching at all. Have you changed internet providers lately? As in, switched from dial-up to DSL, that sort of thing?
