GRRRR....I hate people

If I ever own my own paper....I'm gonna have a strict policy of telling anyone who phones up being a dick to go fuck themselves.

Sometimes, when we PDF, the paper can be shifted and sometimes lines get erases...well a letter writer had his name erased from a letter. It was a sarcastic letter about taxing drug dealers.

Some old prick calls up saying shit like "Well this guy can get away with advocating legalized drugs without printing his name? It kind of looks like you support that."

I said "Sir we don't 'support' anything our letter writers send in, we just print them..in this case a glitch happened and the writers name was erased, as well, in this particular letter I think it was clear the writer was being sarcastic."

him: "Well that's just your perception, my percepition is something else."

Me: "Well, I know this particular writer and I assure you he was not being serious."

And it just ketp going on and on...fuck sakes...one day, I'm gonna own my own paper and I swear to god the first person to call like that will be told to FUCK OFF.

Sorry for the old 60s phrase. I work in the media too and we get all kinds yelling at us (me) because of the "communists" we have on our show. I have to look at the calendar to remind myself what year we actually live in since communists are so, you know, so 60's.
