2. Well, our loss is the Lansing Lugnuts' gain, but
yeah,it would be good if he could get back up to speed real soon now.

@#$! Mitre. He started the season off so well, too. Then he started breaking down every 4th inning. Apparently now he's decided to get in an extra nervous breakdown in the 2nd inning.

Ah well,

6. Thanks for answering the question I neglected to ask.
The tears were blinding my eyes.

A good friend is taking his father (a St. Lousy fan) out to dinner tonight. I expect sparks to fly.

At least call us St. Louise. ;-)

Not original to me.

10. Now, my dad's home town...

I remember being about 8 and my dad taking me through town, showing me where he went to high school. I was shocked. It looked like a bomb went off...so sad.

:-(

I'll stop hijacking now. ;-)

3. Which home run did you find most impressive,
the one Pujols hit or the one Edmonds hit?

5. Sigh.
Since I was listening on the radio, it was kind of hard to tell. But they were both painful!

C ya,

4. It was a rough one - 'glad I didn't go out there.
I live a few blocks from Wrigley Field and we were going to go for "standing room" today but I had a hunch things weren't' going to go their way and 'hate to be there in person when they lose.
Wait til tomorrow!

7. The one bright side is that they rallied to get it as close as it was.
For a few innings there it looked really promising. And then, alas.

Well, maybe tomorrow will be better,
