Air fares from Alaska are so bad, I could just walk. &%$#@!!!!!

I have tried to find airfares that go from Anchorage International to Portland International, the usual gateway from Alaska for people to fly. Sort of a air version of driving from NYC to NJ. It costs between $3000-$3800 for two people. It sucks. I hope all you low fare people out there enjoy yourselves. We are subsidizing you. :(

is it an emergency flight you can't book in advance? if it is for a funeral or something, the airlines will give you low fares at the last minute

I just did a fake itinerary on there, and got round trip for $451 per ticket.

of course, it depends on when you fly, etc. But could be worth trying.

And are you sure you said Portland, OR and not Portland, Australia?

You can find great deals on there. Also, try www.hotwire.com, www.expedia.com, or PM me and I can help you look! I have a boatload of experience at finding cheap tickets!

Part 2: NEVER, EVER book through an airline or travel agent unless you are buying last-minute at the airport! They make you pay SO much more!
