Tornado warning!
I was outside taking some amazing photos of clouds. We have 3 or 4 severe storms converging. I turned around to walk in to tell my son that the sirens were going to go off (hey I live in Kansas I know the feel and sound of tornados) and they started. I hope to have some wonderful pictures for you all soon, for now I am going back out to watch for the storm, it is about 15 miles south of here I think. Oop. It is here, dee you all later.

some really interesting cloud shots. 3 big storms, all tornadic seemed to converge over my house and the sun was out between them. It was pretty cool. I'll get them posted in the next few days.

Edit for spelling

5. It went through my farm!
I can't get out there because there is another worse storm coming but they have video of it going through the intersection and would have gone right through my farm, there was debris flying all over. I just hope to god my horses and kitties are OK. Shit, another tornado headed right back up the highway towards my farm.

For God's sake, love, hit your shelter the INSTANT you see the other. No video is worth you getting hurt, or worse! The Good Lord will take care of your horses and kitties, but YOU must take care of yourself!

10. Paddy
you are so damned nice to me! I am watching the video on TV, it either passed right over my farm but the video shows it on the ground about 1/2 mile from my farm going directly to my farm so I am hoping the flying debris is not my barn. All I can do is sit here and watch this, the other tornado will miss my house but will be close to my farm again and another has formed SE of this last one so it will be a long night. I will be careful, there is nothing I can do at the farm so I will sit here and talk with you all until everything passes over then I will go clean up the farm. Looks like Lawrence is getting it now.

If there is video on CNN tomorrow of this tornado you will be able to see my farm!

11. Thanks again Paddy
and all of you, it looks like most of this is trending east of me. The debris from the tornado was indeed a barn but my neighbors, not mine. I think I will head out, check mine and help him clean up. THANKS to all of you. God I love this place, you are all way too cool! :grouphug: to all of you.

LAWRENCE take care over there!

13. What a relief.
I'm glad everything turned out okay for you. It's too bad about your neighbor's barn, though.

15. Yes and thanks
for caring. We have about 4 on the ground within about 40 miles of here. A nice outbreak and it seems there are more every few minutes. I am happy they are moving east of here.

17. Pretty exciting!
I LOVE storms. Tornados are not fun but the storms are amazing. I don't think this is really all that unusual but everything gets reported now and it seems that everything must cause as much fear as possible. The weather channel lady this afternoon told about 2 towns totally wiped out over the weekend, would we repeat that tonight? I think this is pretty usual actually, perhaps a bit more but not terribly odd for this area.
