yea! the tornadoes missed me!

The sirens went off for an hour or so, but nothing formed over the Kansas City area. Even better, I finally met my cute, single neighbor who has a basement. Too bad the books on his shelves included "The Death of Virtue" by the Moral One himself, Bill Bennett.
(I think that is the title- I was starting to get discouraged by that point).

I love this location- I can be at Kaufmann Stadium in a seat in less than 25 minutes. Of course, that would be assuming one wanted to actually watch the Royals at this point :)

9. Wonderful Sump Pump!

So far so good. I've been in my place since last Spetember and we've had a few episodes of very heavy rain and its been completely dry so far. (Knock on wood!)

I'm hearing that rolling thunder too... quite a bit of rain but no really high winds :)
