any DUers in Virginia want to have a gathering in June?
I'm re-visiting my home-state during June 1-14 and would love, in fact NEED, to associate with some like-minded people while I'm there, to counteract the abundant Bush-loving in my family and old social circles

anyone up for it? Partying, Bush-bashing, assorted liberal-ness, and meeting your fellow DUers?

Richmond and Hampton Roads are doable for me, as is Roanoke. Would really like to meet some DUers so keep us posted.

but by the 12/13th I'll be ready to visit my true partying-grounds in HR's, so both work well for me

I live in DC and have buddies in VA I can crash with, I could use such a get-together too, but won't drive if I'm going to drink.

If you guys pick a Metro-accessible place, you've got another interested party. If not, drink a few for me.

12. June 5...major PRO-Peace rally in DC....come join us...STAND UP

here's all the info....in the past, DUers take action to meet before the rally, perhaps dinner the night before...or right before the rally starts...or at a designated area for the actual march....why not help with a really productive exciting effort to SAVE LIVES and create a better America??? STAND UP

it looks like YOU could organize a bus from Richmond to DC...and organizers ride free...that part is so easy....just contact ANSWER, by email, by phone....let them know that you are ready now to STAND UP and help....make PEACE happen....
