Man Fined For Hitting Tony Blair With Powder Filled Condoms

LONDON -- A fathers' rights activist has pleaded guilty to throwing condoms filled with purple corn starch at British Prime Minister Tony Blair as he spoke in the House of Commons.

Guy Harrison has been fined about $1,000, plus almost $100 in court costs. Another man pleaded not guilty in the case, and a judge set a hearing for next month.

The powder turned out to be harmless, but it forced an evacuation and raised concerns about security in the House of Commons.

A prosecutor said the two men filled three condoms with corn flour and stuffed them in their pants to get through security.
