90's Lyric Quiz, Part One
Here are fifteen lines from some popular songs from the 90's. Guess the artsits & songs correctly and you'll get--well, nothing but the satisfaction of knowing you're a total music nerd.
No fair using Google, either!

1. You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.

4. I got more rhymes than the Bible's got Psalms.
5. How many times have I felt diseased?
6. I know your family's grieving; fuck em!
7. Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach.
8. Everyone I know goes away in the end.
9. I shall drink in and always be full.
10. What ever happened to the life that we once knew?
11. I'm not old or new, but middle school.
12. If you can't take the heat, get your ass out the kitchen.
13. Don't you think that you need somebody?
14. If you wanna kiss the sky, better learn how to kneel.

#1 is "Closing Time" by Semisonic

#14 is "Mysterious Ways" by U2 (I'm not sure that song came out in the '90s....)

So, even though it was recorded in 1977 or so, it was re-recorded and released in 1995.
