4. Not my triplets, but we do have two boys and a girl.

Plus, they are 3 1/2 now. Also had much nicer christening gowns, one worn by their great-grandfather, their grandmother, their mother (and me) before the girl triplet wore it. Their grandmother made two more to look as much like the antique one as possible.

6. That is just adorable!

My mother made our christening gown out of her wedding dress and the slip was out of my grandmother's wedding dress. I was able to use it for my daughter as well. :hi:

9. Wow. Ours is 40 years old. I agree, it is really something special.

My Aunt (mother's sister) did the same with her gown and used grandma's dress as the slip as well. They are wonderful to have.

10. They are.

Ours is made out of very fine cotton with a beautiful lace inset. My grandmother was quite a seamstress, but after her husband died in 1918, worked for years as a department store bookkeeper and music teacher. A woman ahead of her time. Sadly, she died when I was just 8.
