9. I notice you didn't mention the "machine separated chicken"...
...which you will see proudly displayed among the SPAM ingredients!

The bastards!!!!

"Meat removed from bones by a machine invariably grinds bone powder into the finished product. So mechanically separated meats, especially chicken, have much more fluoride than most foods because they contain fluoride-rich bone dust."

7. I worked at a factory that made those things
...back in my underemployment years. It's all beef, which by law comes from cows.

You take a big chunk of frozen ground beef, about 30 lbs or so, out of the shipping carton (It probably came from Argentina or New Zealand or something.) You put this frozen meat wad in a fixture where hydraulic rams compress it to around half its original size. Next, the frozen dense meat chunk is sliced into thin sheets and is interleaved with paper and packed in a little box.

That's all there is to it...

8. Damn I loved those things!
Back when I ate meat, they were a family favorite that I had grown up with.

We always had them on buttered toast splashed with worcheshire (sp?) sauce.

Mom still has them to this day.

Haven't found a veggie version yet. :(

12. There's a Cheez Whiz Web Site too...
...the bastards!!!!

http://www.kraftfoods.com/main.aspx?s=contact_us&m=contact_us/cu_faqsingle&faq_question_id=228&N

Q. My CHEEZ WHIZ® Pasteurized Processed Cheese Sauce jar looks different, have you changed it?

A. CHEEZ WHIZ® has been reformulated. The new jar and formula allows you to dip straight from the jar -- a more convenient way to get the great CHEEZ WHIZ® taste.

"Reformulated"...as in "now with more cheez, less WHIZ?"

The BASTARDS!!!! Telling people to "dip straight from the jar"...what do they think we are, ANIMALS??

14. What's that smell??
God, I remember my mom buying that stuff when we were kids. It had the strangest "meat" smell I'd ever smelled. Didn't stop me from eating it though. But I was also raised on Hostess Ding-Dong's and Ho-Ho's. So clearly I was in a sugar induced delirium.
