So I went to NYC and spoke out (and met Tim Robbins) and...

I met this cool guy outside the Public Theater -- (where I had seen Tim Robbins "Embedded" about journalists in Iraq and the sick f*cks who got us into this war and Leo Strauss idol worship (WOWWOWWOW IT WAS GREAT!!! And extended until June 5th - and Robbins talked with me and my wife and kids and we got PICTURES with him!)--who gave me a flier on a website blog about a soldier in Iraq who is sick with depleted Uranium poisoning and is now apparently awol.

There is a blog and a journalist to following the story and it is extremely mindblowing and frightening:

I will write more about my brief lecture in NYC later(where I spoke at a Holocaust history conference/seminar on writers and artists who were persecuted and hunted down by Hitler and a network set up to save these early opponents of fascist Germany who were stripped of their citizenship and who fled as refugees - joining the underground and ending up smuggled out of Europe by a hearty band of Americans and International freedom lovers)

person after the war until a family friend found her and got her through the post war red tape and over here. Does not talk much about it - once told about running to the trees and hidding as she lost her parents - and then a relative (may have "just" been a friend of the family) found her and they both hid until the war was over. No one ever talks about the displaced persons after WW2.

It is STILL an interesting site, but a bit too contrived - altho it has its merits. I just wish it had not been represented to me asd real.
