She's my favorite actress. And Prime Suspect is one of my fav alltime detective series.

6. it was Prime Suspect that got me
never heard of her before. and i only watch that because it one of like two or three networks i can recieve at work on sunday nights.

she is very pleasant to watch. i'll have to watch for the entire series, and then Calendar Girls too.

11. You have to admire british women..
Most of the "stars", accept the aging process, and slide gracefully into character-driven roles in films and tv..

It seems to be just the US that is so youth obsessed.. It's truly sad that we were all deprived of watching "our" stars progress.. I think Cher would have been striking at ANY age...and so would so many of them..

I wonder if, years later, they look in the mirror, and are sorry for changing their faces so drastically..

To date, I have never seen one who looked better...after :(

She and her husband were quite toasted and quite loving.

She is also much more attractive in person than on screen. I've found it's usually the other way around.
