Military people urged to root out miners
In the West Virginia coal-mine war (and at other times in other places).

1. History
There's a long tradition of using National Guard troops in labor disputes. Minnesota NG troops were used in the Hormel strike in the 1980's.

The army (led by McCarthur and Eisenhower) was even used to disperse a groups of WW1 vets who marched on Washington demanding payment of a bonus they'd been promised.
