Chappelle Show fans:
Do you think he and his co-writer white guy buddy seriously trivialize the "N-Word"?

At times it's funny (like Chappelle calling white folks "N-Word"s, that's funny and it's got merit), but at other times it's pointless and as such vulgar.

I dunno.

1. As a white guy...
I won't touch that one!

But did anyone see the Wayne Brady episode? Man that was hilarious.

3. So you know something I don't?
Please fill me in! I'm a naive human with a white skin. Often because I don't sunbathe and want to be a shoe-in for the 2005 Pillsbury Doughboy Lookalike contest... :puke:

4. I'm just saying I do not want to offend someone.
Personally, I think it's inappropriate for whites to use the word.

But I think the Chapelle show is funny as hell.

That's all.

5. Agreed.
I'm not sure if his co-writer (Dave Chappelle on numerous occasions has mentioned his name but I keep forgetting) used the word himself...

Whites should not use the word, that's just inflammatory. Besides, it's a horrible word with an even more horrible history behind it. Watering it down by using it nonchalantly or meaningless does nobody any good. What's wrong with saying that?

And the Chappelle Show is HILARIOUS. (well, I hated the skit where he is rude toward the terminally ill child, but nobody's perfect... and he and his co-writer rather attack everybody...)

2. Aside from the bad meaning, it's a beautifully euphoneus word
I love the word in music. It has a natural snap to it.

6. Other black comedians and rappers use it just as much if not more.

Except for like, Bill Cosby or something.

It's not just him.

BTW, it's my favorite show on TV.
