Scientists Believe They Found New Baby Planet
<snip>

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- A NASA space telescope has picked up a celestial body that experts believe is the new kid on the block.

The planet -- believed to be 1 million years old or less -- may be the youngest planet ever spied.

By comparison, Earth and the rest of the solar system are 4.5 billion years old. And up until now, the youngest planets observed around other stars were a few billion years old.

In its first major findings, the Spitzer Space Telescope also has shown that protostars -- or developing stars -- are very common and that planetary construction zones around infant stars have considerable ice that could produce future oceans.

1. Our planet is NOT 4.5 billion years old!
It's only 10,000 years old or so. So stop saying that!
