I miss my cats

Anyone else miss their pets when they are at work. I look at the pretty faces of Abbott and Evita and I wish I were home right now playing & snuggling with them.

HOW THE HELL DID YOU PEOPLE TURN ME INTO A PATHETIC CAT OWNER??? I USE TO BE HIP & COOL!!!!

3. I do, sometimes
Last Christmas my wife & I went to my mother's. As we were laying in bed getting ready to sleep, we swore we could feel out cat Coleman jump up on the bed, even though he was 120 miles away. I know how you feel. In the last year I joined the Dark Side as well.

6. me too
my cube is plastered with kitty & puppy pictures (I have no human children, so they are my babies and display them proudly). they are always happy to see me when I get home (well, the cat mostly just wants to be fed). I always have someone to sleep with.

Yes, I am a loser. but someone loves me : )

also, when I don't want to be at work, I think of the babies napping at home without a care in the world...must be nice!

8. All the time
It just makes getting home that much better.

I think the real question is do our cats miss us when we're at work?

10. Yeah, I'm a total sucker when it comes to my fur-people...
A couple of weeks ago, my "boy" Dobbs had to spend the night at the vet so they run some tests first thing in the morning (all normal, btw). I was a basket case that night, worrying about him, missing him, etc. Dobbs fared better than I did overnight, I'm sure.

I was late to work this a.m. because I played with Dobbs -- tossing his fur mouse and watching him chase it like a maniac and bringing it back to my feet, again and again.

the prospect of sitting at a desk seemed so trivial in comparison to bonding with my cross-species buddy.

Such is the lot of a cat-nut.

13. Not only do I miss them,
they miss me when I'm at work. All three of my bunkies run to the door to greet me and rub all over me and love me, and it isn't just food-seeking or loneliness - they'll do this when there's other people home who've recently fed them. They're just happy to see me. I was recently away from home for a weekend, and all three were just frantically all over me when I came back, meowing and meowing, telling me all about what they'd done while I was gone and everywhere they'd looked for me. :D

14. awwwwww.....that's so sweet
Abbott will immediately roll over and stick all for of his paws up in the air. The best Evita will do is jump on the sofa to see what an ass Abbott is making of himself.

Then I'll pick up Abbott and cuddle him like he was an infant. It's just adorable!
