Wow -- this is the first time in the history of (my) home improvement...
That a contractor has come and gone and there hasn't been any, "uh, ma'am, can you come down here for a second, something's come up" problems.

Usually it's the plumber, telling me that that the $75 clog has turned into a $400 pipe replacement. (Or, the furnace guy, telling me that the condensation pan dripped and shorted out my furnace, which is what happened a couple of weeks ago...)

This time, the furnace guys just left with a recommendation I get an a/c tuneup (which I'm supposed to do yearly anyway), and the electrician recommended I eventually have them come and do a service change, one of these days, when I get around to it (a 1972 breaker box is bound to have some confused circuits in it :eyes:). But no extra money today, and nothing urgent.

Wonders never cease.

2. That is amazing but...
how long did it take them to show up after you first called them?

I usually have at least a 5 year wait for a plumber, 6 for an electrician.

3. Get this:
1. Upon initial furnace failure -- approximately two hours
2. Another company I called for an estimate -- scheduled one on the first try, for two days later; they arrived on time
3. Called this company back on Monday to schedule the install. They came today. Arrived on time and left on time, too.

Amazing.

4. Incredible. You must be a hot piece of ass!
It's the only logical explanation why they'd rush to your house so quick.
