Smuttynose IPA

Nice cloudy unfiltered brew with less carbonation than most. Moderately hoppy. Has a slightly sweet aftertaste. Drink it cold, though....it tastes like bile after it gets warm! :puke:

Yes I tried it a number of times when I was in New Hampshire for one of the campaigns. I really enjoy it. Isn't it brewed in Portsmouth, or is it Manchester? I was also introduced to Redhook while I was there since they have a brewery in Portsmouth, and I like that even better.

I'm interested in trying their other brews. Haven't had a Redhook in awhile, but I think I enjoyed the Smuttynose a little more.

8. I do respect Smuttynose...
for being a true local brew. I heard Redhook was bought by a major company like Bush or some other one. I do like their other brews, but I don't recall what they're called anymore.

12. Seems like a good night for hunting down a new brew.
Guess I'll hit the "yuppie" grocery store and see if they have something I haven't tried yet. IPA or Stout?? I could go either way on that. :beer:
